The National Curriculum Initiative in Developmental Medicine (NCIDM), a multi-year partnership between the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry and Special Olympics, with resources from a cooperative agreement funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is excited to announce our third cohort of Medical School Partners. These institutions were awarded grant funding for 2019-2020. The selected institutions are:
· Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, NY)
· Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (Danville, PA)
· Harvard Medical School (Boston, MA)
· University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine (Kansas City, MO)
· University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (Madison, WI)
The Cohort 3 Medical School Partners will engage with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and community partners to develop innovative curriculum and educational interventions.
The Request for Proposals for NCIDM Cohort 4 will be released 7/31/19. You will receive it via this mailing list or you may find it online starting July 31st, 2019 on NCIDM's website:
