In a White House press release on September 15th, President Trump announced his intent to nominate and appoint individuals to key administration posts — including AADMD’s very own External Affairs Ambassador Rick Rader, MD.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, AADMD set up a Coronavirus Center as a resource and hub for knowledge sharing for individuals, caregivers, and, in particular, health care workers serving people with Special Needs/ IDD (Intellectual & Development Disabilities).
Coronavirus Impact Advisory - AADMD Conference
Based on current travel advisories there are no plans to postpone or cancel the 2020 One Voice Conference in June in Pittsburgh, PA at this time. AADMD is taking developments concerning coronavirus (Covid-19) very seriously. We are closely monitoring the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department, US Center for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) for information and travel advisories. We will update the advisory regularly to keep conference attendees informed. We will work with health authorities to ensure the highest possible safety for attendees before and during the conference.
