Lyubov Slashcheva, DDS
Dr. Lyubov Slashcheva is a special needs and geriatric dentist, working at Apple Tree Dental in Rochester, MN. She is also a public health research collaborator with the Mayo Clinic's Rochester Epidemiology Project. Dr. Slashcheva obtained her undergraduate degree at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where she grew up. After obtaining dental training at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia as a National Health Service Corps Dental Scholar, she pursued residency training at the University of Iowa in Geriatric & Special Needs Dentistry and Dental Public Health. Alongside residency training, Dr. Slashcheva participated as a LEND fellow and obtained graduate certificates in biostatistics and global health. In addition to her leadership with AADMD, she serves on the boards of organizations such as the American Public Health Association (Oral Health Section), the Center for Sustainable Climate Solutions, and the Mennonite Healthcare Fellowship.
