2022 Focus: ADVOCACY, EDUCATION & STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

People with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD) need our advocacy more now than ever. During this intimate 2-day leadership summit, the AADMD Executive Board and our Student/Resident Committee leaders will meet in-person with a handful of strategic partners for pointed discussion and innovative planning - Old West style in the heart of Texas. This group will set goals to execute on a plan that furthers our advocacy for people with IDD, education of current healthcare professionals as well as students of healthcare. We’ll end the weekend with a Special Olympics Texas event called “Steak & Stetson” which includes dinner, dancing (you can learn the Texas Two Step) and casino games for all!
