AADMD Membership Discount: All conference attendees are eligible for a 20% discount on AADMD annual membership dues. Associate Membership, normally $100 per year, will be discounted to $80 per year and Professional Membership, normally $150 will be discounted to $120 per year. The discount is available to new, current, and previous AADMD members.

CME/CDE Credit: The conference will be offered for CME and CDE only. Other professionals may receive certificates for CME or CDE and submit them to their professional bodies. Often these are recognized for purposes of continuing education credit.

Post-Conference Workshops

On July 11 and 12 The National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia Practices will offer a two-day workshop on ‘Dementia Capable Care of Adults with Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia’ appropriate for all levels of staff caring for adults at risk for or diagnosed with ID and dementia. Content includes aging and ID, early detection and screening, Down syndrome and dementia, behavioral and psychiatric symptoms in ID and dementia, environmental adaptations to support function, programmatic challenges, end of life issues, and other topics.
