NTG June 6th St. Paul Meeting

Dear NTG friends,

Please review the minutes of the inaugural meeting that the NTG held during the AAIDD preconference on June 6th, in St Paul, MN. We had brought together a smaller number of our members to help further along the process. There was an amazing amount of enthusiasm and constructive discussion throughout the day. We deeply appreciate all of the hard work and dedication that everyone has put into the project so far. As you can see from the minutes, the 3 task groups have been hard at work. The creation of a basic construct towards care practice standards and its ties to NAPA is still our goal by the end of this year. The success of this project lies within you, the individual members getting involved in the process; being on committee meetings, emailing with comments and suggestions, and helping with strategic planning when needed is paramount. We will be restarting a dialogue for each of the 3 task groups soon. Please be patient with the process, we are all volunteers just like you but do hope to add further organizational support and backing to the cause as we move forward.
