AADMD INFO BLAST - FOR AADMD MEMBERS

One of the benefits of AADMD Membership has been the complementary subscription of Exceptional Parent (EP) Magazine. The magazine has recently converted to full digital format, which is the version that AADMD members will be receiving. This memo from EP's CEO (and long standing member and supporter of the Academy) Joe Valenzano will provide some information regarding the attributes and how you as a AADMD member can provide courtesy subscriptions to families and colleagues. AADMD members are also encouraged to submit manuscripts for articles of interest for publication in EP.

• Costs of printing and postage are prohibitive and escalating.

• New generation is more attuned to electronic publishing

• EP now can be disseminated to IPods, any computer anywhere in the world and can be easily translated into foreign languages

• Expansion to libraries is now more easily facilitated….and at less cost.  EP Digital is a fraction of the cost of print making it more widely appealing.

All members of the AADMD will receive a free one year subscription to EP Digital beginning in August, our Health Care Issue and we are working on a way to allow each member to distribute a minimum 10 or possibly 20 free issues per month to patients and friends.
