I hope that everyone will send in any recommendations concerning our 2010 Annual Meeting in Reno, Nevada. The Grand Sierra Resort http://www.ddna.org/pages/conference is truly beautiful with excellent accommodations. The AADMD and DDNA strive to present pertinent and useful topics given by experts in the field from all around the country. We, however, need your help!! The field of DD Healthcare as most of you know is and has been on the back burners of most academic and research agendas. The annual meeting provides an opportunity to learn and to discuss the very same topics that have interested and probably frustrated you. Our organizations have been founded with the hope that those with passion for this often devalued population can come together and make a difference.... Strength in numbers. It is a wonderful feeling to meet and chat with others with similar interests and questions. We at the Academy do not have all of the answers but as a "young" group of upstarts with lots of enthusiasm, we hope to make a difference, but with your help. What DD healthcare topics are you interested in and are you or someone you know interested in speaking???,..Best,..Seth
